Mr. Narendra Kale is the founder of Kale Logistics Solutions, a leading IT solution provider focused on the Logistics and Airports industry. He is a highly respected entrepreneur with keen eye for opportunities in "niche areas" for Service segments and arrive at solutions for internationally applicable adaption.Started and built software product and services companies from scratch with minimum capital and built them into multi national multi million dollar operations. His company has 120+ airlines as its customers worldwide. He has built innovative technological solutions with lot of "FIRSTS" in the software technology and application products arena. He and his company have won several accolades and awards for pioneering software solutions for the Airlines and travel industry. Most recently he co-founded Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership at the COEP campus with the vision to create a successful entrepreneurship institute model to change India through young entrepreneurs, who are the hope of tomorrow's rural and urban India.
Dr. Ramesh Raskar is an Asso. Prof. at MIT and is director of the Camera Culture group at MIT Media Lab. Before MIT, he invented techniques for Augmented Reality as well as Computational Photography: Shader Lamps (projector-based AR), composite RFID (RFIG), multi-flash non-photorealistic camera for depth edge detection, high dynamic range video and quadric transfer methods for multi-projector curved displays. At MIT, his nventions include camera to see around corners, a novel CAT-Scan machine, imperceptible markers for motion capture (Prakash), long distance barcodes (Bokode), touch+hover 3D interaction displays (BiDi screen), low-cost eye care devices (Netra,Catra), new theoretical models to augment light fields (ALF) to represent wave phenomena and algebraic rank constraints for 3D displays(HR3D). He is a recipient of TR100 award from Technology Review, 2004, Global Indus Technovator Award, top 20 Indian technology innovators worldwide, 2003, Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship award, 2009 and Darpa Young Faculty award, 2010. Other awards include Marr Prize honorable mention 2009, LAUNCH Health Innovation Award, presented by NASA, USAID, US State Dept and NIKE, 2010, Vodafone Wireless Innovation Award (first place), 2011. He has received four Mitsubishi Electric Invention Awards.
