UPCOMING EVENT

Virtual Event: Covid-19 Pandemic: What’s Next?

Who could’ve imagined how 2020 would turn out to be? A pandemic, a recession, and civil strife have certainly changed the trajectory of this year. These events compounded with global generational crisis around climate change, rising inequities, etc. bring forth a new set of uncertainties. However, we COEPians are known to up our game as the game gets more challenging.
So, we’ve put together an exciting panel discussion titled “Covid-19 Pandemic: What’s Next?” on July 8th, at 5:30 pm PST, led by two pioneers of our alumni, Nickhil Jakatdar and Ramesh Raskar. Both of them are leading some innovative efforts on the front lines of the Covid battle with a particular focus on testing and tracing. They will share the insights from their learning experiences so far and articulate the emerging promise of the future.

Please do join us for this event and RSVP at the earliest as spots are limited.

The Videoconferencing details will be included in your free ticket, once you RSVP.

PAST EVENTS

COEP CONNECT 2018

COEP Connect 2018 was a great success with enthusiastic participation from COEP alumni.  We were truly honored to have Prof Haresh Shah and his wonderful wife, Joan for an enlightening fireside chat. “Let’s hear from you” segment speakers - Sanjeev Chitre, Nitin Nangare, Shounak Athavale and Kanchan Nikumbh - enthralled us by sharing their personal stories ranging from COEP memories to enriching service experiences.

“Engineering a Rewarding Career” panel discussion had Anand Oswal, Prasad Gune, Preeti Rathi and Vasu Jakkal give us strategies and sound career advice to navigate today’s ever-changing landscape. All the team activities from the word cloud filled with COEP nostalgia to building earthquake proof structures out of coffee stirrers and modeling clay brought us together as the community that we truly are. Like Shounak said, the COEP spirit was plenty evident throughout the day!

COEP CONNECT 2017

Our second COEP CONNECT event was held on September 23rd, 2017 in Cupertino, CA. It was a huge success with more than 150 alumni coming together from all over the US. The event included an amazing panel discussion and fireside chat along with musical performance by alumni.
